Have you developed a new technology or product in your lab that may have real world applications for teachers, parents, practitioners, business leaders, or others? Are you curious about how to take your innovation to market? Would you like to learn more about the financial and professional service opportunities that are available at Johns Hopkins?
This event will feature an informational session where interested researchers can:
- Learn about Johns Hopkins Technology Ventures (JHTV)and their services. JHTV is the technology commercialization arm of the university. Neil Veloso, executive director of technology transfer, will speak about what JHTV does, its resources and services available for inventors, and share perspectives on current market conditions for early stage technology.
- Hear from researchers from Whiting School of Engineering and the School of Medicine about their experiences bringing technology to market.
- Share your ideas for new technologies or products with others to get feedback and guidance. Have an idea? Email Kristin Gagnier by Thursday October 13th, with a brief description (e.g., a few sentences) of your idea so we can prepare a resource packet for you.
Hors d'oeuvres, beer, and wine will be served.
