Roghayeh “Leila” Barmaki, Ph.D., is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Laboratory for Computational Sensing and Robotics (LCSR) at Johns Hopkins University. Prior to joining Johns Hopkins, she earned her PhD at the University of Central Florida in Computer Science working with Dr. Charles Hughes on social skill training and assessment. Leila’s interests span multimodal machine learning, technology-enhanced learning and virtual reality with applications in education and training. She holds a BSc in Computer Engineering and an MSc in Artificial Intelligence.
