Dr. Tsantis is an Associate Professor in the School of Education with specializations in coaching and mentoring, differentiated instruction, assistive/adaptive technology, data-based decision making, and strength-based collaborative strategies. She teaches in the Technology for Educators online program, and in the Special Education and School Counseling programs. She also advises doctoral candidates.
Her current research interest focuses on the use persuasive technologies to mitigate the impact of toxic stress on learning and wellness. A secondary focus is the examination of the potential of a Socratic Space that could capture knowledge from free-form digital content created within social networks to form focused dialogue that might ultimately generate solutions to existing and emerging problems.
